Founded by Jean Bernhard in 1951, the Revue de droit canonique (Rdc) is the oldest operating French review on canon law. The journal covers not only canon law in the strict sense, but also religious law in general. The relationship of state and church is examined, amongst others, from an historical, legal, theological, philosophical, sociological, psychological point of view. The articles and book reviews are in French; the journal is published twice a year.
